Space School Musical Comes to Mobridge

Hannah is trying to finish her science project - a model of the solar system.  But there’s a problem: it’s due tomorrow, she’s not finished yet, and it’s past her bedtime. How will she get it done? With a little help from her friends – the most talented troupe in the Milky Way!

Join Hannah on a trip through the solar system in this ultra-cool edu-tainment “hip-hopera” that is out of this world!  Move and groove along with the planets, moons, meteors, comets, asteroids and even some rockin’ scientists as they sing, dance and serve up the freshest facts in the galaxy.

Space is definitely one cool place.

Mobridge-Pollock Public School District, Mobridge Community Development Corporation, and the Dakota Players, an outreach program by the Black Hills Playhouse, invite everyone to an afternoon of fun and entertainment when local students present Space School Musical on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Mobridge-Pollock Middle School Theater. The performance will be the culmination of a unique learning experience for children from Mobridge-Pollock Public School District. This special weeklong event gives children a chance to learn what it’s like to take part in a professionally produced stage musical, from auditions and rehearsals through the final performance. Make plans to attend and take part in the fun--admission is free and free will donations are encouraged!

This residency is made possible through a partnership with Mobridge-Pollock Public School District and the Mobridge Community Development Corporation with funding provided by the State of South Dakota, through the Department of Education and Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts, the Beadle family and Beadle Auto Group, Jensen Rock & Sand, Mobridge-Pollock Music Boosters, Parents for Positive Changes, Oahe Area Retired Teachers, Mobridge-Pollock PTO, Campbell County Arts Council, and the many families who donated at this year's winter concerts.
